TikTok MCP Server for Restaurants

1. Create an API key. In FoodPerfect, open Settings → API Keys → Create API Key and pick a preset: Read-only, Content operator, Publisher or Full. The key is shown once.
2. Add the server to your agent. The endpoint is https://mcp.foodperfect.ai/mcp with the header Authorization: Bearer <your key>. Claude Code takes the command above; Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code and Codex use the same URL and header.
3. Connect TikTok. Ask your agent. It calls get_connect_link, you sign in to TikTok, and it saves the account with finalize_connection (needs a Full key). Or connect TikTok in the app.

• Make the video. Turn a dish photo into a 4–8 second clip with generate_video_from_image (a camera move, or a hand bringing in or tasting the dish), or build a 9:16 reel from 75 templates with create_reel and render_reel.
• Write the post. create_post with platform: "tiktok" and the video. TikTok takes videos only; captions come short, in your brand's voice, with 3–5 hashtags.
• Plan the week. generate_publish_schedule adds TikTok slots in your timezone, next to your other connected platforms.
• Send a draft. save_posts_to_draft puts the video in your TikTok inbox as a native draft. You finish the cover, privacy and the final Post tap in TikTok.
• Or post it. TikTok asks for choices on every direct post: who can view it, comments, Duet and Stitch, and whether it's promotional. Your agent sets them in tiktokSettings; without them FoodPerfect refuses the publish. Then publish_posts_now after your approval, or approve_posts for its scheduled time.
• Answer comments. sync_inbox pulls them in, draft_reply writes the answer, send_reply sends it once you approve. moderate_comment hides or unhides a comment.

Publishing now, saving drafts, sending a reply and deleting never run when the agent calls them. The server files a request, you approve it in Settings → Agent Requests, and the server runs it exactly once.

Approving posts for the schedule needs the posts:approve scope, which only the Publisher and Full presets have. With a Content operator key, every TikTok post waits for you in the app.
