Connect it in three steps

  1. Create an API key. In FoodPerfect, open Settings → API Keys → Create API Key and pick a preset: Read-only, Content operator, Publisher or Full. The key is shown once.
  2. Add the server to your agent. The endpoint is https://mcp.foodperfect.ai/mcp with the header Authorization: Bearer <your key>. Claude Code takes the command above; Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code and Codex use the same URL and header.
  3. Connect your accounts. Your agent calls get_connect_link for a platform, you sign in, and it saves the account with finalize_connection (needs a Full key). Or connect them in the app.

Each platform takes what it takes: TikTok and YouTube publish videos only; X, Threads, Google Business Profile, Bluesky and Telegram can post text alone; reels don't go to Facebook, LinkedIn or Google Business Profile. Snapchat connects once its closed beta lets FoodPerfect in.

One post, every platform

  • Create. Captions in your brand's voice, food photos from your dish photos (generate_photo), promo cards (generate_promo), dish videos (generate_video_from_image) and reels from 75 templates (create_reel).
  • Copy everywhere. cross_post_to_platforms copies a post to more platforms, free. Platforms that can't take that kind of post are skipped with a reason.
  • Fit each platform. adapt_post_captions rewrites the caption for every platform in one call and keeps every fact: 280 characters on X, 500 on Threads, a title on YouTube and Pinterest, no hashtags on Google Business Profile.
  • Plan and publish. generate_publish_schedule fills the weeks for your connected platforms; publish_posts_now runs after your approval.
  • Answer. Comments from Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn and DMs from Instagram and Facebook land in one inbox; draft_reply writes, send_reply sends once you approve.

What waits for your OK

Publishing now, saving drafts, sending a reply and deleting never run when the agent calls them. The server files a request, you approve it in Settings → Agent Requests, and the server runs it exactly once. Approving posts for the schedule needs the posts:approve scope, which only the Publisher and Full presets have. Each key has its own scopes, an optional expiry and a daily spending cap.

Pricing

Reads, copying and publishing are free, except an X post with a link ($0.25). Adapting one caption for all platforms is a single charge of $0.15–$0.24, depending on your plan (paid plans only). Questions

Do I need a developer app for each platform?

No. You connect each account once through a sign-in link FoodPerfect gives you, in the app or from the chat (Telegram uses a bot code instead). Your agent only talks to the FoodPerfect MCP server.

Is there a REST API too?

No. FoodPerfect is reached through its MCP server at https://mcp.foodperfect.ai/mcp; the tool schemas are published at https://mcp.foodperfect.ai/openapi.json.

Which AI agents work with it?

Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Codex and any MCP client that can call a remote server over HTTP with an Authorization header.
