FoodPerfect / Integrations / LinkedIn MCP server
LinkedIn MCP Server for Restaurants
LinkedIn MCP server for posting from Claude, Cursor, Codex and any MCP client: your agent writes your restaurant's LinkedIn posts with FoodPerfect, schedules them and drafts replies to comments. Publishing and every LinkedIn reply wait for your approval.
> Can you answer comments on our LinkedIn posts automatically?
● foodperfect - get_inbox_settings (MCP)
⎿ {"aiDisclosure":true,"inboxEnabled":true,"autopilotEnabled":false, "channels":{"comments":true,"dms":true,"reviews":false}, …}
● Not fully automatically. On LinkedIn, FoodPerfect can write the replies for you, but a person has to approve each one before it's posted. … Autopilot never sends on LinkedIn, whatever the settings say, and I can't change that.
Connect it in three steps
- Create an API key. In FoodPerfect, open Settings → API Keys → Create API Key and pick a preset: Read-only, Content operator, Publisher or Full. The key is shown once.
- Add the server to your agent. The endpoint is
https://mcp.foodperfect.ai/mcpwith the headerAuthorization: Bearer <your key>. See the setup for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code and Codex. - Connect LinkedIn. Your agent calls
get_connect_link, you sign in to LinkedIn, and it saves the account withfinalize_connection(needs a Full key). Or connect it in the app.
What your agent can do on LinkedIn
- Write the post.
create_postwithplatform: "linkedin": a picture post or up to 10 pictures, with a caption written for LinkedIn: the team, the craft, sourcing or catering, short paragraphs, three hashtags at most. - Make the picture.
generate_phototurns your dish photo into a studio-quality food photo;generate_promomakes a promo card with your prices. - Reuse a post.
cross_post_to_platformscopies an Instagram or Facebook post to LinkedIn for free;adapt_post_captionsrewrites its caption for LinkedIn. - Schedule and publish.
generate_publish_scheduleadds LinkedIn slots to your plan;publish_posts_nowafter your approval, orapprove_postsfor the scheduled time. - Answer comments.
sync_inboxpulls LinkedIn comments in,draft_replywrites the answer in your voice,send_replyposts it once you approve.
What it doesn't do on LinkedIn
Most LinkedIn MCP servers read profiles or automate outreach. This one only works on your own posts and their comments.
- No profile scraping, job search or lead lists.
- No LinkedIn messages or connection requests.
- No videos or reels on LinkedIn, and no hiding comments (deleting one waits for you).
- No automatic replies: autopilot never sends on LinkedIn.
What waits for your OK
Publishing now, sending a reply and deleting never run when the agent calls them. The server files a request, you approve it in Settings → Agent Requests, and the server runs it exactly once. Approving posts for the schedule needs the posts:approve scope, which only the Publisher and Full presets have.
Pricing
Reads, copying a post and publishing are free. A post with a new image costs $0.48 and an AI-drafted reply $0.005 on the Starter plan, less on bigger plans; failed generations are refunded. Start with $3 of free credit, no card needed. Plans start at $29 a month (excl. tax), and the full plan price is added to your balance. See all plans.
Questions
Can it search LinkedIn profiles, jobs or leads?
No. This LinkedIn MCP server is for posting and answering comments for your business. It doesn't scrape profiles, search jobs, send connection requests or messages.
Can replies on LinkedIn go out automatically?
No. FoodPerfect's autopilot never sends on LinkedIn, because LinkedIn's API terms restrict automation. Every LinkedIn reply is a draft that you approve.
Do I need a LinkedIn developer app?
No. You sign in to LinkedIn once through a link FoodPerfect gives you, in the app or from the chat, and FoodPerfect posts through that connection.
